Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
MileStone ("we", "us") builds a mileage-tracking app and website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. This is a starting template and should be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address and authentication identifiers (Apple/Google sign-in IDs).
- Trip & location data — the drives you record, including routes, distances, and the times and places they occurred, which you classify and annotate.
- Vehicles & locations — vehicles and frequent places you save.
- Product analytics — non-identifying usage events (e.g. which features are used) to improve the product. These do not include the coordinates or addresses of your trips.
- Diagnostics — bug reports you submit and basic device/app information you choose to include.
How we use it
- To provide mileage tracking, classification, reports, and sync across your devices.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
- To communicate with you about your account (e.g. verification and password emails).
Where your data lives
Your data is stored on infrastructure we operate directly. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your trip or location data with third-party advertisers.
Your choices
- You can delete your account at any time from the app or web Settings, which permanently removes your data from our servers.
- You can disable location/background permissions in your device settings (this stops automatic tracking).
